Bruce Springsteen Compilation DVD The Late Show Proshot

The show opens with a clip of "Local Hero" from the tour opener in Stockholm. This is followed by a recap of Bruce's career up to that point, told through a series of comments by UK music critics and clips from the usual stock footage (Phoenix '78, No Nukes, LA '85 etc). The remaining two-thirds of the 40 minute running time contain an interview with journalist, presenter and long time fan David Hepworth in a LA rehearsal studio. Bruce talks about life, love, music and riots. This is interspersed with clips from contemporary promos, the SNL appearance and more from the Stockholm show. The real gem though, is a run-through of "With Every Wish" in the rehearsal studio (the audio on this clip is unfortunately from a boom mike rather than the soundboard).Also included on the DVD are two MTV News segments (one of which uses footage from the '93 Red Bank Rehearsals) and the live performance of "Lucky Town" from Glasgow '93 that was shown on the following night's "Top of the Pops".
