These rare gems are presented for the first time on CD. In 1968, Jimi went to Stephens house in Malibu for a jam session involving Buddy Miles and Springfield bass player Bruce Palmer, among others.
Stills recalled, " We just took some acid and just went. We played quite literally for 20 hours straight. We must have made up 50 songs, but there was no tape running."
However, some of the jam was captured, and the two sources are presented back to back on CD.
