Alan always thought he might write something for the likes of Kim Wilde (and then he came to his senses!) ‘You’ was rejected for inclusion on the ‘Dance Your Life Away‘ album, to be replaced by ‘Broken Doll‘, inspired by Jay Aston (ex Bucks Fizz).
