However, Jay Leno congratulates Robert on the "MTV award", which no doubt refers to the MTV Video Music Awards which were held on Sept. 5, 1986; in addition, the next thing I had recorded on my VHS tape was dated 10/27/86 (the 1986 World Series game 7 preview).
